Job summary

Unimax in Gurugram (Haryana) is seeking an Asst Mgr Weld Shop to lead welding operations, ensure process conformance and drive line efficiency. You will work to meet production plans, optimize machine and fixture usage, and spearhead Kaizen and cost-reduction initiatives.

The role demands a Dip/BE in Mechanical with 6-10 years of welding shop experience, strong FPY focus, and commitment to safety and on-time production targets.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in Mechanical/Production
• 6-10 years of experience in welding shop
• Exposure to welding process control and production planning
• Strong focus on safety, 5S, Kaizen and cost reduction

Responsibilities

• Oversee Welding Shop operations and process control
• Ensure production meets plan and targets
• Monitor OEE, line efficiency and downtime
• Manage machines and fixtures to support output
• Drive productivity and cost reduction initiatives
• Manage rejection and rework rates
• Ensure safety and Kaizen discipline
