Job summary

Sesotec India is seeking an Asst. Manager/Senior Service Engineer to lead on-site technical operations and ensure global service standards.

The role involves installation, commissioning, and testing of high-precision German capital equipment, with on-site and remote troubleshooting, VFD programming, and sensor integration. Travel across India and beyond is expected.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent required.
• Expertise in VFDs, sensors, and industrial instrumentation with control panels.
• Proven ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings and wiring diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end installation, commissioning, and testing of high-precision German capital equipment at client sites.
• Provide expert on-site and remote technical support for electrical and pneumatic systems.
• Handle VFD programming, sensor integration, and PLC communication interfaces with high accuracy.
• Maintain technical documentation, service reports, and compliance logs per international standards.
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for clients, integrators and management, ensuring satisfaction and minimal downtime.
• Mentor junior engineers on troubleshooting and best practices in instrumentation.

We are looking for a high-caliber Asst. Manager / Senior Service Engineer to lead our on-site technical operations and ensure global standards of service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execution & Proactivness: Lead the end-to-end installation, commissioning, and testing of high-precision German Capital equipment at client sites.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Provide expert-level on-site and remote technical support, diagnosing complex electrical and pneumatic system failures.
• Advanced Programming: Handle VFD programming, sensor integration, and PLC communication interfaces with high accuracy.
• Documentation: Maintain technical documentation, service reports, AMC reports and compliance logs as per international standards.
• Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary technical point of contact for clients, Integrators and Management ensuring high satisfaction and minimal downtime.
• Mentorship: Guide junior engineers on troubleshooting techniques and best practices in instrumentation.

Desired profile of the candidate *

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical or Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

8-12 years of hands-on experience in industrial machinery commissioning and services services (preferably with German or European machinery).

• Technical Mastery:
• Expertise in VFDs, sensors, and industrial instrumentation, control panels
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting complex technical drawings (Electrical & Pneumatic) & wiring diagrams
• Strong grasp of industrial automation and control systems.
• Soft Skills: Strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a disciplined "German-standard" approach to work.
• Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively across India and potentially international locations.
