Job summary

Taikisha Engineering in India seeks a results-driven sales and business development professional for EPC projects in automotive paint shops. You will lead lead generation, client engagement, and proposal preparation, coordinating with engineering and project teams to deliver competitive solutions.

This role requires a technical background, strong communication, and travel willingness to meet clients, with experience in tendering, costing, and managing CRM and dashboards for sales performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering; MBA/PGDM preferred.
• Knowledge of paint shop systems, spray booths, ovens, conveyors, HVAC, VOC, and fire safety equipment.
• Familiarity with tendering, project costing, and EPC contracts.
• Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD (basic) and CRM tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the sales team in identifying and developing new business opportunities in automotive paint shops and related EPC projects.
• Assist in preparing technical-commercial proposals, cost estimates, and tender submissions with engineering/estimation teams.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify potential clients and project opportunities.
• Participate in client meetings, presentations, and technical discussions to understand requirements and propose solutions.
• Maintain and update CRM / sales pipeline to track leads, opportunities, and order status.
• Coordinate with procurement, engineering, and execution teams to ensure proposal accuracy and feasibility.
• Assist in negotiation support and documentation for contract finalization.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and performance dashboards for management.
• Represent the company at industry exhibitions, trade fairs, and networking events.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Technical aptitude with ability to understand paint shop process requirements.

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Industrial Engineering (MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferred).
• Knowledge of paint shop systems spray booths, ovens, conveyors, utilities, HVAC, VOC systems, and fire safety equipment. Familiarity with tendering, project costing, and EPC contracts.

Total Experience:

36 years of experience in sales/business development of EPC projects, preferably in paint shops, surface treatment, or industrial automation.
