Job summary

Sanaswadi, Maharashtra-based Operations Manager role for a leading automotive paint shop client of Talent Corner HR Services Pvt Ltd. Lead day-to-day plant operations across production, PPC, stores, quality, dispatch, maintenance and customer coordination.

Requires 10–12 years in manufacturing with hands-on paint shop experience, plus exposure to ISO 9001/IATF audits. Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical/Production/Industrial/Paint Tech preferred; salary ₹11–12 LPA, up to ₹13 LPA for exceptional fit.

Qualifications

• 10–12 years in manufacturing, preferably automotive components / ancillary suppliers.
• 1–2 years in plants or operations leadership across multiple functions.
• Hands-on experience in paint shop, surface coating or finishing operations.
• Experience with Tier 1/OEM audits and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 systems.
• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Paint Technology or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise pre-treatment, painting, curing and finishing to meet production targets and customer specifications.
• Own production planning, capacity, manpower, material availability and plan adherence.
• Lead inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, safe storage and procurement coordination.
• Ensure in-process and final quality, traceability, RCA/CAPA and complaint closure; support audits.
• Deliver on-time dispatch with correct packing and documentation; coordinate with planning, logistics and SQE teams.
• Drive preventive maintenance, uptime, safety and continuous improvement.
• Provide regular MIS on delivery, quality, production and cost.

We are recruiting an Operations Manager for a leading client of Talent Corner HR Services Pvt. Ltd., a growing Tier 3 automotive paint shop supplier. Reporting to the Owner/Director, you will lead day-to-day plant operations across production, PPC, stores, quality, dispatch, maintenance and customer coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and supervise pre-treatment, painting, curing and finishing to meet production targets and customer specifications.
• Own production planning, capacity, manpower, material availability and plan adherence.
• Lead inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, safe storage and procurement coordination.
• Ensure in-process and final quality, traceability, RCA/CAPA and complaint closure; support IATF 16949 / ISO 9001, PPAP and customer audits.
• Deliver on-time dispatch with correct packing and documentation; coordinate with customer planning, logistics and SQE teams.
• Drive preventive maintenance, uptime, statutory readiness, 5S, safety and continuous improvement.
• Lead function in-charges and teams; provide regular MIS on delivery, quality, production and cost.

Requirements

• 10–12 years in manufacturing, preferably automotive components / ancillary suppliers; 1–2 years in plant or operations leadership across multiple functions.
• Mandatory hands-on experience in paint shop, surface coating, electroplating or finishing operations.
• Experience with Tier 1/OEM customer audits and IATF 16949 / ISO 9001 systems.
• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Paint Technology or related discipline preferred.
• Working knowledge of paint processes, RCA/CAPA, 7 QC tools, control plans, PPC and Excel; ERP experience is an advantage.
• Hands-on leader comfortable in a growing, owner-driven plant environment.
• Salary: ₹11–12 LPA, with flexibility up to ₹13 LPA for an exceptional fit
• Working hours: Minimum 9-hour workday; extended hours may be required during audits, dispatches or production exigencies
• Weekly off: Thursday
• Location preference: Local candidates or candidates willing to relocate near the plant
