Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Create reports on production processes, tool issues, and quality performance.

  • Ensure SOPs, torque charts, and control plans are followed.
  • Monitor line balancing, cycle times, and resource use.
  • Coordinate material availability between SCM/CDMM/Stores.

Job description

  • 1. Creating reports and records of production processes, tools issues performance, and inventory; sharing them with managers and providing suggestions to improve safety, productivity and quality.
  • 2. Execute daily engine assembly operations as per production plan.
  • 3. Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Torque charts, and control plans.
  • 4. Monitor station-cycle time, line balancing, and resource utilization.
  • 5. Coordinate material availability between Cross finctional Teams- SCM/CDMM/Stores.
  • 6. Ensure zero stoppages related to manpower, material, or machine issues.
  • 7. Conduct daily safety audits and ensure action closure.
  • 8. Maintain daily production reports (DPR), attendance, downtime logs.
  • 9. Prepare actiona plans for Quality reports – defects, rework, torque failures.
  • 10. Update training records, skill matrix, and process audit scores.
  • 11. Supervising and directing the daily activities of production lines workers, assigning tasks, ensuring coordination between different teams, ensuring their safety and monitoring their performance.
  • 12. Training new hires, managing scheduling and work conflicts, monitoring safety, and promoting internal communication to create a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
  • 13. Knowledge of Work Measurement Techniques- MOST, Time and Motion Study
  • 14. Resource planning for the department
  • 15. Problem solving approach and ability to examines a specific problem and understands the perspective of each involved stakeholder.
  • 16. Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems
  • 17. Processes limited amounts of detailed information with good accuracy.
  • 18. Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned.
  • 19. Develops and uses checklists to ensure that information goes out error-free.
