Job summary

Staffing Services in Pune District, India, seeks a skilled CNC technician to manage machine shop operations and assembly. You will work with VMC, Turning, and Sliding Head CNC, including related programming, and use SAP on the shop floor. The role requires drawing interpretation, GD&T, and ISO 9001 awareness, plus training and guiding team members.

You will also oversee shop-floor inventory and collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth production flows.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of CNC machining across VMC and Turning centers.
• Experience with Sliding Head CNC and related programming.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Hands-on training and team development on the shop floor.

Job description

Handling Machine shop operations & assembly activities & interaction with the all supporting departments.

• Excellent technical knowledge of CNC machining operations of VMC, TURNING, Sliding Head CNC & related programming
• Knowledge of SPM and Conventional Drilling, Grinding [ID/OD], Tapping machine & assembly
• Knowledge of latest production techniques and Cutting Tool technology
• Fully conversant with SAP (Must be required)
• Good exposure Component drawings study & Engineering drawings interpretation & GD&T
• System Knowledge of ISO 9001
• Manages employees through training and Multi skills development, resolving employee issues through problem resolution
• Managing inventory on the shop floor.
