Job summary

Peoplefy Infosolutions requires an experienced planning professional to oversee material feeding for frame fabrication, ensuring alignment with production schedules and efficient shop coordination in Manglore. The role emphasizes lean manufacturing and strong analytical skills.

You will work in a general shift, 6-day work mode, collaborating closely with PPC, Stores, and fabrication teams to meet quality, safety, and performance standards, with exposure to SAP/ERP systems.

Qualifications

• B.Tech Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• Lean Manufacturing.
• Experience in Planning and SAP/ERP and databases.
• Up-to-date knowledge of international codes/standards (ASME, API, EN, TEMA, ASTM).

Responsibilities

• Monitor production schedules and align material feeding in kits to Frames Fabrication based on orders and capacity.
• Monitor and control costs during execution.
• Assist PPC to plan outsourcing and in-house work content.
• Ensure on-time delivery with accurate time planning and backup plans.
• Prepare material kit lists for shop floor with look-ahead planning.
• Generate and control workstation plans and standard operating procedures.
• Produce plan vs actual data and minimize project inventory.
• Support PPC managers in their activities.
• Digitally monitor production processes to identify bottlenecks and take corrective action.
• Ensure completeness of dispatches of equipment.

Description

Lead Material and Components feeding activities for DCMF Frames Fabrication to operates 1.

Responsibilities

• 1.Monitor production schedules and align material feeding in kits to Frames Fabrication shop as per production schedules based on customer orders, resource availability, shop capability and production capacity.
• 2.Monitor and maintain the cost during the execution.
• 3.Help PPC to plan outsourcing and in-housework content.
• 4.Accurately control the time scheduled and keep the back up plans ready to ensure, on time delivery.
• 5.Prepare and provide the material kit lists to shop floor with help of look ahead planning.
• 6.Generate and control the workstation plans.
• 7.Generate standard operating procedures.
• 8. Generate the plan vs actual data.
• 9. Minimise the project inventory.
• 10. Support the PPC managers in their activities.
• 11. Digital Monitoring of production processes: monitoring production processes data to ensure that they are operating efficiently and effectively. Identify/ predict bottlenecks and other issues that may impact delivery by production and take corrective action as necessary

Experience 7-10 years

Primary Skills (Must Have)

• 1. Candidates should have frame fabrication/planning experience, not piping experience.
• 2. Target candidates from chassis or frame fabrication companies.
• 3. Target Auto/Chassis manufacturing; no 2-wheeler profiles. Preference for four-wheeler exposure.
• 4. Candidates should be working in Planning, not Production; NOT from piping or equipment manufacturing.
• 5. Relevant profiles may be titled Shop Coordinator, Feeder, Shop Planning, etc.
• 6 Team management experience required.
