Job summary

HR Innovation Group in Chakan, Maharashtra, is seeking a Sr Production Engineer/ PPC with 5-8 years of experience. You will read drawings, plan production using 3M, manage ERP ABAS reports, develop work instructions, and drive shop floor efficiency across fabrication, machining and assembly operations.

The role requires strong coordination, 5S implementation, and hands-on production planning with a focus on reducing scrap and meeting daily targets.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret fabrication, machining, and assembly drawings.
• Plan and execute production using 3M (Man, Machine, Material) principles.
• Update daily and monthly production reports in ERP system (ABAS).
• Write clear and effective work instructions for shop floor operators.
• Coordinate with Assistant Manager for managing rejection and rework.
• Monitor and reduce scrap generation on the shop floor.
• Conduct assembly-wise inspection and prepare inspection reports.
• Provide training and onboarding support to new operators.
• Hold daily meetings with Assistant Production Engineer to align on daily targets.
• Track production progress and ensure targets are met on time.
• Prepare analytical production reports on a daily and monthly basis.
• Schedule dispatches and final job inspections.
• Monitor and improve operator productivity and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain 5S activities across the production area.
• Strong understanding of technical drawings and manufacturing processes.
• Hands-on experience in production planning and execution.
• Experience in handling rework, scrap control, and productivity tracking.
• Good knowledge of ERP systems (preferably ABAS).
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Word for documentation and reporting.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail, team leadership, and shop floor management.
