Job summary

Nuvoco Vistas Corporation (Nuvoco) invites an experienced Compliance Lead to manage statutory registrations, payroll-related compliance, and labour law adherence across our Mumbai operations. You will oversee audits, track notices, and ensure timely renewal of licenses while guiding the Admin & Inventory teams on record-keeping.

The ideal candidate has 7–10 years in concrete industry compliance, with MSW/LLB/LLM education and a proven track record in liaising with statutory authorities and

Qualifications

• 7–10 years in compliance within the Redymix concrete industry.
• Experience with statutory registrations, PF/ESI, minimum wages and related filings.
• Ability to conduct audits and implement internal controls.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end statutory compliance: registrations, PF, ESI, LWF, and records maintenance.
• Ensure adherence to salary payouts, ESIC, PF, minimum wages and related compliance.
• Track vendors for outstanding issues, queries, and service compliance.
• Conduct audits to identify gaps and inform user departments for corrective action.
• Implement annual compliance work plans and risk monitoring tools.
• Lead internal controls implementation and liaise with labour authorities.
• Maintain notices and draft responses; ensure timely license renewals.
• Train Admin & Inventory teams on statutory records and laws.

Job Description -

• To handle Statutory compliance End to End ( Registrations , PF , ESI, LWF,maintaining records etc )
• To ensure all adhere to statutory compliances wrt. salary payouts, minimum wages, ESIC , PF etc
• To ensure and track all the vendors wrt. Handling/resolving o/s resource issues, query/s and other service issues without any statutory violation.
• Conduct audits to identify compliance gap/s and highlight the same to respective vendors (during the audit) and to the respective user departments for corrective measure at their end
• Implementation of annual compliance work plan.
• Implement risk/compliance monitoring tools/maps including activities, trigger, probability and action.
• Spearhead the implementation of internal controls and ensure that these are adhered to at all times.
• Laisoning with labour Commissioner Office for labour licence, Renewal of labour licence
• Handling Contract Labour related statutory compliance.
• Train Admin & Inventory team on maintaining statutory records, registers, on applicable labour / industrial laws
• Maintain track of all notices / show causes / memos received from all authorities
• Draft responses for notices received
• Liason with statutory authorities
• Appoint liasoning vendors
• Conduct audits on compliance
• Train his team of compliance coordinators on conducting audit
• Checking uploaded documents, their correctness and validity
• Ensure all licenses are renewed in time
• Create monthly MIS of compliance
• Guide operations team in getting new factory licenses and its timely renewal
