Job summary

DMart in Rajkot is seeking an Operation Compliance professional with MBA to manage statutory compliance across stores, liaising with government authorities and ensuring adherence to labour laws.

You will handle PF/ESI/PT, wage acts, and monthly audit cycles, prepare challans, and respond to employee queries, while maintaining records and licenses.

This role requires meticulous attention to regulatory detail and coordination with store HR and corporate teams to keep all registrations up to date.

Qualifications

• MBA required with knowledge of labour laws.
• Experience in PF/ESI/PT/other statutory compliance.
• Exposure to monthly compliance audits and filings.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to compliance under Contract Labour Act for all contractors.
• Handle statutory registrations and liaise with government authorities for PF, ESI, PT, LWF, and CL Act.
• Identify applicability of statutory rules and regulations.
• Prepare and file PF/ESI/PT challans in standard formats and ensure timely submission.
• Coordinate remittance with banks within deadlines.
• Maintain database of challans and returns.
• Handle employee queries related to PF/ESIC.
• Prepare and submit returns under labour laws (Employment Exchange, Shop & Establishment Act, Payment of Wages, Minimum Wage Act).
• Conduct monthly compliance audits at stores; ensure registers & notices are maintained.
• Resolve audit queries per statutory requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to obtain licenses for new stores and renewals.
• Visit stores during government inspections and report to CHRM/Corp HR.

Role & responsibilities

• Adherence to compliance under Contract Labour Act for all contractors.
• Will be responsible for Statutory Registrations & Liasioning with government authorities

for Provident Fund, Employees State Insurance Corporation, and Professional Tax,

LWF, Contract Labor Act etc.

• Adherence and Identification of applicability of statutory rules & regulation.
• Calculation and Preparation of error free PF /ESI/PT/ Challans in standard format as per

the slabs and ensure timely submission.

• Handling remittance formalities with the bank within the timeframe.
• Working on Collection, Transfer, Withdrawal, verification & Submission of forms and

maintaining the database for the same. ( Challans & Returns)

• Handling Employee Queries related to PF,ESIC
• Preparation and submission of all returns under labour laws (Employment Exchange,

Shop & Establishment Act, Payment of Wages, Minimum Wage Act etc.)

• Conduct monthly compliance audit at respective store to ensure all statutory related

registers & records are maintenance, display of abstract and notices at stores

• Ensure 100% audit queries are resolved timely as per the statutory requirements

(Source N+1 audit report)

• Co-ordinate with respective stakeholder and obtain license for new stores and renewal

the licenses within the stipulated time under Shop Act, RC, 365 days, Contract Labour

etc Source tracker.

• Visit & co-ordinate with store HR during inspection by Government authorities and send

report of the same to CHRM/Corp HR
