Job summary

Kannanware is seeking an experienced quality inspector to join our machine shop team in Tamil Nadu. The role focuses on inspecting machined components, verifying tolerances, and performing CMM checks to ensure compliance with specifications.

Ideal candidates have 7–10 years in a machine shop, hands-on use of micrometers, pi tapes and bore gauges, and strong data analysis and presentation skills. ISO9001 auditor experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical is required.
• 7–10 years of experience in a machine shop.
• Experience with instruments like micrometer, pi tape and bore dial gauges.
• Knowledge of gear measurements and Kaizen practices.
• Internal auditor ISO9001 is preferred.
• Good communication and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect machined components.

General Summary of Position

Preparation and maintenance of Control formatspertaining tomachine shop.

Usage of instruments as per control plans.

Clearing machined components for further process.

Responsibilities & Specific Accountabilities:

• Inspection of machined components
• Inspection of geometrical tolerances on the machine.
• CMM check of key components.
• Maintaining inspection tools.
• Calibration.
• Preparation of control charts.
• Raising NCs and conducting root cause analysis.
• Implementation of mitigation actions.
• Method for new components.

Key Position Requirements:

Education:

Job Experience:

• 7 to 10 years in a machine shop.
