• Assist in project planning with senior design staff to develop project plans and timelines.

• Draft detailed drawings and renderings using CAD and other software, ensuring precision.
• Conduct site visits and analyse site conditions to inform design.
• Research and select materials and plants suitable for climate and maintenance.
• Communicate with clients to understand needs and present design concepts.
• Coordinate with design team, site team, contractors, and vendors for implementation.
• Review deliverables for quality and prepare snag lists.
• Pursue professional development and stay updated on landscape trends.

Job description

• Assist in Project Planning: Collaborate with senior design staff to assist in the development of project plans and timelines. Contribute ideas and insights to the overall design process.
• Conceptual Design Development: Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute to the development of conceptual designs. Utilize creativity and innovation to generate design ideas that meet client needs and project requirements.
• Drafting and Documentation: Coordinate to prepare detailed drawings, renderings, and other design documentation using CAD software+other softwares. Ensure accuracy and precision in all design deliverables.
• Site Analysis: Conduct site visits and analyse existing site conditions. Gather data on topography, vegetation, soil conditions, and other relevant factors to inform the design process.
• Material and Plant Selection: Research and select appropriate materials, plants, and other elements for landscape projects. Consider factors such as climate, maintenance requirements, and aesthetic appeal.
• Client Communication: Communicate with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Present design concepts and proposals in a clear and compelling manner. Respond to management feedback and make revisions as needed.
• Project Coordination: Coordinate with other members of the design team, site team, as well as contractors and vendors, to ensure the successful implementation of landscape projects. Monitor project progress and address any issues or challenges that arise.
• Quality Control: Review design deliverables to ensure they meet quality standards and project requirements. Identify and address any errors or discrepancies in a timely manner. Prepare and document snag lists.
• Professional Development: Stay informed about current trends and developments in the field of landscape architecture and design. Seek opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.
