Job summary

JobItUs is seeking an Assistant Fitter – RMHS for our DRI/Sponge Iron plant in Raipur, India to support the Mechanical Maintenance team in operation, inspection, maintenance and servicing of material-handling equipment.

You will assist Senior Fitters, Supervisors and Mechanical Engineers to ensure the smooth and reliable movement of raw materials such as coal, iron ore, dolomite and other materials from storage to the production process.

Qualifications

Experience in mechanical fitting and repair work.
Familiarity with RMHS and material-handling equipment.
Willingness to work in a heavy industrial plant environment.

Responsibilities

Assist in operation, inspection, maintenance, repair and servicing of material-handling equipment.
Support smooth and reliable movement of raw materials from storage/receiving areas to the production process.
Assist Senior Fitters, Supervisors and Mechanical Engineers in daily tasks.
