Job summary

Leading Energy & Mobility Manufactering company is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer (1–4 years) skilled in SolidWorks or Creo to design sheet metal components, plastic enclosures, and assemblies from concept to production. You will generate flat patterns, apply DFM/DFA, create 2D drawings with GD&T, manage BOMs, and support prototyping and vendor coordination.

Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering preferred; experience in CAD modeling and manufacturing processes essential for cost

Qualifications

• Education: Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: 1–4 years in Sheet Metal, Plastic, or Product Design.
• Software: SolidWorks or Creo/CATIA, AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Design sheet metal parts, enclosures, brackets, plastics, and assemblies.
• Generate flat patterns and calculate bend allowance / K-Factor.
• Apply DFM/DFA to optimize cost and material usage.
• Create detailed 2D drawings with GD&T and manage BOM.
• Support prototype fabrication, testing, and vendor coordination.

Looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer (1 to 4 Years Exp) proficient in SolidWorks or Creo to design sheet metal components, plastic enclosures, and general mechanical assemblies from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design sheet metal parts, enclosures, brackets, plastics, and mechanical assemblies.
• Generate flat patterns and calculate Bend Allowance / K-Factor for fabrication.
• Apply DFM/DFA principles to optimize manufacturing costs and material usage.
• Create detailed 2D production drawings with GD&T and manage Bill of Materials (BOM).
