Gro Digital Platforms seeks an Associate Zonal Head - Market Place to drive supplier onboarding, fleet engagement, and marketplace operations end to end within the assigned cluster.

The role focuses on building and maintaining a robust transporter network, ensuring fleet availability, optimizing load fulfillment, and achieving revenue and margin targets by effectively satisfying both load providers and vehicle providers through digital solutions.

Role Overview

The Associate Zonal Head - Market Place is responsible for driving supplier onboarding, fleet engagement, and marketplace operations end to end within the assigned cluster.

The role focuses on building and maintaining a robust transporter network, ensuring fleet availability, optimizing load fulfillment, and achieving revenue and margin targets by effectively satisfying both load providers and vehicle providers through digital solutions.

The Associate Zonal Head will also oversee the onboarding, performance, and management of Business Relationship Managers, Team Leaders, Placement Coordinators, and Supply Field Executives, monitor key marketplace KPIs, and ensure smooth operational execution to meet overall cluster goals.

The Associate Zonal Head will be responsible for collections from Legacy accounts and also responsible in maintaining relationship with key stakeholders of Market Place

Key Responsibilities

1. Supplier Base Planning & Development

• Identify potential fleet operators, owner-cum-drivers, and small/medium fleet owners in the cluster.
• Build a lane-specific onboarding plan to meet marketplace demand.
• Maintain a pipeline of pre-verified transporters to ensure availability for ad-hoc loads.
• Coordinate with Zonal Heads and senior leadership to align supply planning with revenue and margin targets.

2. Supplier Onboarding & Activation

• Ensure fleet owners are successfully onboarded onto the GroOne platform.
• Coordinate first placements with newly onboarded suppliers.
• Ensure transporters download and use the app, understand their fleet size and lane details, and are available to take loads.
• Track supplier activity and performance metrics to ensure marketplace efficiency.

3. Marketplace Operations & Performance Tracking

• Monitor and optimize fleet utilization and placement index.
• Track revenue and margin pass-through from transporters to ensure financial targets are met.
• Identify bottlenecks or supply-demand gaps and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain cluster-level dashboards to track performance metrics and provide updates to senior leadership.

4. Escalation Management & Issue Resolution

• Act as the first escalation point for marketplace-related issues.
• Communicate major issues to relevant teams and ensure timely resolution.
• Implement process improvements based on recurring issues or feedback from fleet operators.

5. People & Team Management

• Evaluate and fulfill manpower requirements for the cluster.
• Conduct training and onboarding for Business Relationship Managers, Team Leaders, Placement Coordinators, and Supply Field Executives reporting to you.
• Mentor and manage the team to achieve supplier onboarding, placement, and marketplace targets.
• Conduct performance reviews and appraisals for reporting team members.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

• Revenue Target: Achievement of revenue goals from marketplace operations.
• Margin Target: Achievement of profit/margin targets from transport operations.
• Collection Target : Achievement of Legacy Outstanding and 90% of Market place collection within 72 hours and balance payment in 45 days in LSP business
• Supplier Onboarding Target: Number of fleet owners onboarded.
• App Downloading Target: Number of transporters downloading and actively using the GroOne app.
• Placement Index: Vehicles placed for loads received.
• Fleet Availability: Fleet readiness for lane-specific demand.
• Team Performance: Achievement of targets by BRMs, Team Leaders, Placement Coordinators, and Supply Field Executives.
