• Vendor management: Develop and maintain relationships with transport vendors, truckers, and brokers.
• Traffic & Transportation Operations: Manage daily vehicle placements and movements.
• Coordination & Communication: Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams; provide status updates.
• Reporting & Operational Efficiency: Maintain MIS reports; track performance and turnaround times.
• Compliance & Documentation: Ensure compliance with regulations and SOPs; maintain records.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

1. Vendor Management

• Develop and maintain relationships with transport vendors, truckers, and brokers.
• Identify and onboard new transport vendors.
• Negotiate freight rates and ensure vendor compliance.
• Maintain strong vendor relationships to support business requirements.

2. Traffic & Transportation Operations

• Manage daily vehicle placements and movement.
• Ensure vehicles are placed within committed timelines.
• Monitor transportation activities and resolve operational issues.
• Coordinate with vendors to minimize placement delays.

3. Coordination & Communication

• Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide regular updates on vehicle placement status.
• Handle delays, escalations, and other operational challenges.

4. Reporting & Operational Efficiency

• Maintain daily MIS reports and operational records.
• Track vehicle placement performance and turnaround time.
• Identify opportunities to improve vendor productivity and operational efficiency.
• Support cost optimization through effective rate negotiation.

5. Compliance & Documentation

• Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company SOPs.
• Maintain proper transportation and vendor documentation.
• Follow company policies and operational procedures
