Macquarie Bank Limited is seeking an Associate Vice President | Full Stack Engineer to join the People and Culture technology team in Hyderabad. You will collaborate with business and technology experts to enhance the HR-Reward platform and deliver innovative, agile solutions.

You will design scalable backend services and dynamic front-end applications, leveraging Java, Python, Node.js and modern frameworks, with a strong emphasis on RESTful APIs, microservices, and DevOps practices.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable backend services and REST APIs.
• Strong frontend experience with React or Angular.
• Experience with microservices and serverless is a plus.
• Proficient with relational and NoSQL databases.
• Familiarity with CI/CD and containerization practices.
• Ability to work in a global, agile team.

Associate Vice President | Full Stack Engineer

What role will you play?

In this role, you will collaborate with business and technology experts to enhance the HR-Reward platform and drive enterprise-wide technology initiatives. Leveraging emerging technology trends, you will design and deliver innovative, efficient, and agile solutions. Your work will focus on meeting client needs while advancing the platform's capabilities.

What you offer

• Proficient in developing scalable backend services (Java, Python, Node.js) and dynamic front-end applications using frameworks like React, Angular and Single SPA
• Skilled in creating RESTful APIs, contributing to microservices, and implementing serverless architectures for modular system design
• Experienced in integrating with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases for efficient data management
• Adept in DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines (Argo CI/CD, Bamboo, GitHub Action, Bitbucket), containerization with Docker, and deployments in Kubernetes or cloud environments
• Strong expertise in unit testing (JUnit), API testing (Postman), version control (Git), and maintaining clean, efficient code standards
