Job summary

Shipco IT in Pune is seeking an Associate - Technical Writer to produce clear, accurate documentation for IT systems and processes. You will work closely with engineering and infrastructure teams to translate complex technical information into user-friendly guides, SOPs, and manuals.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree, 3-4 years of technical writing experience in IT, exceptional English communication, and the ability to simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in English, Communications, CS or related field.
• 3-4 years of proven experience as a Technical Writer or similar role within IT preferred.
• Exceptional written and verbal English communication; able to adapt content for diverse audiences.
• Ability to grasp complex technical concepts and present them clearly and concisely.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Solid understanding of Linux, networking and IT infrastructure.
• Familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and IT operations.
• Willingness to work in shifts in a 24/7 environment.

Responsibilities
