Responsibilities

• Identify and execute investment opportunities across special situations, corporate actions, REITs, and InvITs.
• Build financial models, evaluate valuations, cash flows, yields, and return scenarios.
• Develop investment theses, sector frameworks, and event-driven strategies.
• Monitor portfolios, market trends, and corporate action pipelines through research and analytics.
• Prepare investment notes, IC memos, and risk-reward assessments.
• Support primary and secondary market transactions, including QIPs, block deals, and institutional placements.
• Conduct due diligence and engage with management teams to assess strategy, growth prospects, and capital allocation.
• Generate actionable investment ideas through data analysis, market intelligence, and industry research

Summary:

You will be part of the Buy Side team of Neo Markets Special Situations team, a high-conviction desk dealing across corporate actions, REITs/InvITs, and sector-driven dislocations. The team actively identifies and executes trades around complex market events such as mergers, demergers, IPOs, open offers, buybacks, and capital structure plays. This role offers hands-on experience in strategy development, back testing, and deep fundamental research.

What Were Looking For:
