Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Passion for the stock market and eagerness to learn fundamental analysis.
• Well-versed with prompt engineering and AI usage for research related activities
• 1 year of buy-side equity research experience or actively investing in market based on fundamental research

Responsibilities

• Research Support: Assist Senior Analysts in tracking assigned sectors and companies. Gather and organize data regarding financials, business KPIs, and industry trends to support the investment thesis.
• Financial Modeling: Update and maintain existing financial models with quarterly results and recent data. Assist in building new models and revenue projections under the guidance of the Senior Analyst.
• Earnings & Event Tracking: Listen to earnings conference calls, prepare summary notes for the team, and track key management commentary. Monitor news flow and regulatory updates impacting the assigned sectors.
• Data Analysis: Conduct secondary research to compile industry databases, peer comparison charts, and valuation sheets.
• Communication: Assist in the preparation of research reports, investment notes, and presentation decks for internal investment committee meetings.

Role: This role will entail working closely with the Senior Research Analyst and will be a part of the core investment research team. The investment research team is responsible for identifying and evaluating investable ideas in the Indian and overseas listed equities across sectors, conducting thorough internal checklist processes and monitoring existing investments.
