Job summary

Emkay Global Financial Services Ltd in Mumbai seeks a Financial Analyst to assist in financial modeling and research activities. The ideal candidate should have an MBA and/or CFA with a background in Engineering, Math, or Stats, and at least 3 years of relevant experience. Qualifications

• Minimum 3-years of experience as sell-side strategy associate or minimum 1-year as strategy associate and minimum 2-years as associate with a sector/lead analyst.

Responsibilities

• Culling out data using various databases such as Bloomberg, etc.
• Assist in financial modeling & valuations.
• Build and maintain financial models, databases, and research notes.
• Deliver regular updates of the financial model/database.
• Support in writing research reports and thematic reports.
• Participate in conference calls and adhoc requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist in Financial modelling & valuations
• Assisting the Head of Research in building financial models, building and maintaining databases, preparing initiation note, quarterly result update note and event update note
• The role would require the incumbent to deliver regular updation of the financial model / database
• Provides required support in writing research reports and working on regular thematic reports
• Participates in conference calls and adhoc requirements as per the delivery timelines
