Job summary

SHV Energy in Hyderabad, India is seeking a Civil Project Manager to lead infrastructure expansions and site works. You will drive project schedules, cost control, and tendering while ensuring quality and safety on site.

The role requires hands-on supervision, coordination with vendors and statutory authorities, and strong leadership across greenfield and modernization projects to meet timelines and budgets.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural, structural, construction drawings, tenders, and BOQ provided by consultants during project cycle.
• Prepare project schedules, budgeting, BOQ, tender documentation for civil works expansion, repairs, modernization.
• Manage projects from site, supervise civil construction activities and provide technical advice as a civil subject matter expert.
• Maintain and interpret site drawings, topographical drawings and construction drawings.
• Civil work execution, supervision as per the construction drawings and specifications.
• Coordinate with Purchase team for issuing Purchase orders, solving issues with Contractors and Vendors.
• Maintain test certificates, quality assurance documentation, & prepare progress reports.
• Scouting of Civil Contractors, Consultants and doing pre/post Contractor evaluation for Induction and performance evaluation.
• Civil work measurements, Billing, Certification related to Contractor billing.
• Initial setting up Site office for greenfield projects, and perform Liasoning with Statutory Authorities and departments as required.
• Project site Documentation related to Statutory, Health & Safety requirements for Civil work execution.
• Prepare Weekly, Monthly reports/Trackers, MIS, Review meetings with internal and external stake holders for effective Civil work implementation in a time bound manner.
• Health & Safety Training, Toolbox talk, Job specific training to Contract workmen during Project stage. Prepare risk assessments for high-risk jobs and supervise such activities following the same.
