Job summary

Hinduja Global Solutions (HGS) in India seeks a PF Operations Specialist to manage end-to-end Provident Fund activities, handle employee queries, and ensure timely resolutions within defined SLAs. The candidate will coordinate with EPFO, Payroll, HR, and IT to maintain accurate PF records and compliance.

Strong knowledge of EPF, EPS, UAN, and KYC is essential, along with excellent MS Excel skills and experience with HRMS/Payroll systems.

Qualifications

Job description

Role & responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end Provident Fund (PF) operations, including claims, withdrawals, transfers, and related employee requests.
• Handle and resolve employee queries through the QRMS portal within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Process and track PF claims, withdrawals, transfers, UAN generation/updates, and KYC-related requests.
• Coordinate with EPFO, Payroll, HR, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of PF-related issues.
• Verify PF-related data and documentation for **accuracy, completeness, and statutory compliance.
• Maintain accurate **records, trackers, case logs, and supporting documentation.
• Support PF reconciliations, statutory filings, and compliance activities as required.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for timely closure.
• Monitor pending cases and ensure all requests are resolved within defined SLAs and quality standards.
• Handle client escalations and provide appropriate resolutions in a timely and professional manner.
• Ensure adherence to applicable EPF/EPS regulations, company policies, and statutory requirements.
• Identify recurring issues and support process improvements to enhance employee and client experience.

Preferred candidate profile

• 1-3 years of relevant experience in Provident Fund/PF operations.
• Strong working knowledge of EPF, EPS, UAN, KYC, PF claims, withdrawals, and transfers.
• Good understanding of Indian statutory and PF compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and familiarity with HRMS/Payroll systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and priorities simultaneously while maintaining accuracy.
