Job summary

Stryker Mumbai is seeking a field-based Clinical Applications Specialist to provide on-site support during surgical procedures and training for surgeons and OR staff on robotic arm applications.

You will use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative plans, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to highlight clinical benefits and build strong relationships with key accounts. The role requires Biomedical Engineering background and 1.5–5 years robotics experience.

Qualifications

• B.Tech Biomedical or similar education.
• Experience in OT is a must.
• 1.5 to 5 years of work experience with Robotic equipments.
• Clinical support experience, e.g. medical field technician or similar.
• Strong customer focus.
• High level of stress resistance and problem solving skills.
• Detail orientation, fast learner.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical product support to end users and on-site guidance during surgical procedures.
• Train surgeons and OR staff in operation of robotic arm applications and related equipment, and provide ongoing in-services.
• Prepare pre-operative CT plans using proprietary software for RIO/Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System and assist with implant planning and positioning.
• Troubleshoot potential product problems for customers promptly and effectively.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to highlight clinical benefits and build relationships with surgeons and OR staff at target accounts.
• Provide feedback to improve product performance and customer satisfaction.

What will you do?

• Provide clinical product support to all end users and provide on-site guidance and assistance during surgical procedures.




• Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support in the operation of the company's robotic arm applications, associated equipment and instruments to insure ideal placement and precision. Additionally, you will provide ongoing in-services, and customer education to assigned account(s).




• Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the company's RIO/ Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System, assists surgeon in preoperative implant planning, implant sizing and positioning.




• Solve potential product problems for customers in an expeditious and highly satisfactory manner.




• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing to increase public awareness and highlight clinical benefits of the products, and build strong relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts.




• Provide feedback on product to improve performance and customer satisfaction.
