Job summary

Stryker Corporation in Mumbai, India seeks an experienced Clinical Applications Specialist to provide on-site clinical product support during orthopedic procedures and to train surgeons and operating room staff on robotic arm applications.

You will prepare pre-operative CT scans, assist in implant planning and positioning, troubleshoot device issues, and collaborate with Sales/Marketing to demonstrate clinical benefits.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech Biomedical or equivalent degree required.
  • OT experience is a must.
  • 1.5–5 years of experience with robotic equipment.
  • Clinical support experience (e.g., medical field technician or application specialist).
  • Strong customer focus and English fluency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-site clinical product support during procedures.
  • Train surgeons and OR staff on robotic arm applications and related equipment.
  • Prepare pre-operative CT scans using proprietary software for implant planning.
  • Assist in implant sizing, positioning, and preoperative planning.
  • Troubleshoot device issues and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with Sales/Marketing to highlight clinical benefits and strengthen relationships.

Job description

Work Flexibility: Onsite

What will you do? Provide clinical product support to all end users and provide on-site guidance and assistance during surgical procedures. Provide surgeons and operating room staff with training and Clinical/Technical support in the operation of the company's robotic arm applications, associated equipment and instruments to insure ideal placement and precision. Additionally, you will provide ongoing in-services, and customer education to assigned account(s). Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative CT scans for use in conjunction with the company's RIO/ Robotic Arm Interactive Orthopedic System, assists surgeon in preoperative implant planning, implant sizing and positioning. Solve potential product problems for customers in an expeditious and highly satisfactory manner. Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing to increase public awareness and highlight clinical benefits of the products, and build strong relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts. Provide feedback on product to improve performance and customer satisfaction.

What will you need?

B.Tech Biomedical or similar education Experience in OT is a must 1.5 to 5 years of work experience with Robotic equipments Clinical support experience, for example as a medical field technician, application specialist or similar Strong customer focus, you place the customer at the heart of everything you do! High level of stress resistance, demonstrated problem solving skills to troubleshoot potential problems Demonstrated detail orientation, curious and fast learner Fluent in English

Work Flexibility Remote

Role allows you to work the majority to 100% of time from an alternate workplace. These roles could have travel expectations, and you must work within the country of the job requisition location.

Field-based

You can expect to regularly work a majority to 100% of time at customer facilities and has a set territory or expectation to travel within a set boundary. Almost all sales roles would likely be qualified as field-based.

Onsite

Role is 100% located at a Stryker facility. Some ad hoc flexibility may be available depending on role, level, and job requirements. Manufacturing roles and any role that requires physical presence at the office would qualify under this category.

Hybrid

You can expect to regularly work in both an alternate workplace and a Stryker facility. Roles that are partially remote or co-located would qualify as hybrid, and the expectation to be onsite would be defined and agreed upon by your manager/supervisor.
