Job summary

Roots Group in Coimbatore district seeks a welding process engineer to lead process flow, SOP, PFMEA & Control Plan, and drive process optimization.

You will select welding machines, implement fixtures and manipulators, and design new processes. Strong problem‑solving using 8D / A3 / Six Sigma is essential, with SAP experience in process routing and engineering change management.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge in welding related process.
• Experience with process routing and engineering change management.
• Exposure to SAP in production processes.
• Problem solving using 8D / A3 / Six Sigma methodologies.
• Identifying new fixtures, parts and process design.

Responsibilities

• Create process flow, SOP, PFMEA & Control Plan.
• Lead process optimization and productivity improvement initiatives.
