Job summary

GMR Group is seeking an Associate Manager for Billing and Quantity Surveying to lead the project management team on ALD infrastructure projects. You will drive time and cost performance, guide the civil works team, and ensure regulatory and contract compliance across interfaces with engineering, procurement, and construction.

With a strong background in civil engineering and 10+ years in large-scale infrastructure, you will manage external stakeholders, ensure accurate billing, and uphold

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Civil/Infra projects.
• Minimum 5 years in airport or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with contractor management handling 100–200 staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to main contractor performance as per project plans in terms of time and budget.
• Guide construction team to achieve required results and resolve clashes to avoid delays.
• Monitor infrastructure projects and implement project reviews per manual.
• Manage interfaces among engineering, procurement and construction with Operations and Maintenance.
• Ensure timely billing and contract compliance with external interactions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure safety, quality, and environment standards.

Associate Manager- Billing and Quantity Surveying

Lead the Project Management team for ALD Infrastructure Projects to ensure delivery of the Project by deploying best project management practices, use innovative methods and technology, emphasis on environment, safety, quality. Guide the team to achieve within time and cost, develop team competency and capability, ensure stakeholder/regulatory approval and their management, and provide leadership to obtain customer satisfaction take team to create a great place to work.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Responsibilities

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Provide Leadership to the Main Contractor performance as per the project plans both in terms of Time and Budget. Guide construction team to achieve required result, ensuring all the clashes are resolved in time and there is no delay to Construction.

• Provide leadership in proper Monitoring of Infrastructure Projects and deploy strong review mechanism as per project manual,


• Planned Vs. Actual


• Check on the Project Critical Path.


• Project Planning & Sequencing of Works

Guide team to ensure all project interfaces wrt engineering, procurement and construction is resolved with Operations and Maintenance Departments.

• Follow contract agreement and plan schedule.

Documentation Management

• Ensuring a strong documentation mechanism so that all project data is available in a click of button.


• Control the response and action Time

Safety, Quality and Environment

• Following and ensuring follow-up of the set safety, quality and environment standards.


• Emphasis on safe Man-hours and conforming quality control standards of the project. Ensure agreed environment standards to be deployed on site.

Team Development

Ensure Employee engagement. Identifying training needs. Training the available team to perform the works as per the laid down procedures.

• Efficient and trained team which is dependable to achieve the stated results and creating great place to work

EXTERNAL INTERACTIONS

• Design/ BD/ Operations / P&E / Senior Management / Contracts / HR & Compliances.


• Ensure timely communication to contractor / sub-contractor / vender and complete their billing process within time lines.

INTERNAL INTERACTIONS

• Periodic interactions with Customer (Aerocity developers, NHAI, DMRC, BSES etc))

• Target 0% cost variation.


• Will handle work over 100 - 150 Cr.

• Handling of Contractors and their manpower strength of 100 - 200.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

⢠Bachelor of Civil Engineering.

RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

• Minimum 10 year experience of working on Civil / Infra Projects.


• Minimum 5 years should be in airport or infrastructure projects.
