Job summary

Jindal Stainless (JSL) in India is seeking a PPC Operations professional responsible for production planning, daily release of processing plans, and maintaining reports on processed and pending materials. This role emphasizes accurate data in the SAP system to ensure smooth material flow.

You will prepare daily control charts, coordinate with CCD, handle urgency releases with production, and collaborate with Hisar and Jajpur teams for releases, urgency updates, and MIGO postings.

• Manage urgency and production coordination by obtaining urgency releases and ensuring timely material processing.
• Coordinate inter-plant activities with Hisar and Jajpur for releases, urgency updates, MIGO postings in SAP, and material allocation.

Job description

Roles & Responsibilities

1. 1. PPC Operations & Daily Planning

   The position holder is responsible for executing various PPC (Production Planning & Control) activities, including daily planning, releasing processing plans, and maintaining accurate reports for processed and pending materials.

2. 2. Control Chart Preparation & Coordination

   The position holder must prepare daily control charts and continuously follow up with the CCD team regarding urgent requirements and processing plans.

3. 3. Urgency Management & Production Coordination

   The position holder must coordinate with the CCD team to obtain urgency releases, discuss the same with the production department, and ensure timely processing of materials as per priority.

4. 4. InterPlant Coordination (Hisar & Jajpur)

   The position holder must follow up with the Hisar and Jajpur teams for processing plan releases, urgency updates, MIGO posting in the system, and allocation of materials in SAP to ensure smooth operational flow.
