alliantgroup, LP is expanding its India operation in Hyderabad to provide Tax, Advisory, Audit and Accounting services for U.S. CPA firms. The team includes professionals from diverse fields and over 900 employees globally.

We seek candidates with 2+ years of experience and a law degree who can analyze legal documents, draft reports, and collaborate with a consulting team to deliver high-quality tax guidance.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school (India, US or common law jurisdiction).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with urgency.

Responsibilities

• Identify and quantify R&D tax credit benefits for US-based clients.
• Review client contracts to identify eligibility for R&D credits.
• Draft reports and legal memoranda highlighting client activities.

What will be your responsibilities:

• Identify, analyze, andquantify research and development tax credit benefits for American businesses
• Review executed clientcontracts to identify which meet the requirements for the R&D tax credit
• Draft phased reportsand legal memoranda highlighting each client’s unique activities whileutilizing your legal prowess
• Collaborate with othermembers of the consulting team while to develop custom reports for clients
• Ability to own andactively manage your docket across a variety of industries including but notlimited to software, apparel, construction, engineering, and food and beverage.
• Become and act as aSubject Matter Expert on tax specialty issues

What are we looking for:

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience.
• A law degree from an accredited law school inIndia, the U.S., or another common law jurisdiction.
• Professional experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communicationskills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• High sense of urgency with the ability to meetdeadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite ofproducts is required.
• Ability to analyze legal documents.
