Job summary

Alliantgroup India Talent seeks an Associate - Legal QC to join our Hyderabad office. You will review contracts and analyze R&D tax credit eligibility for US-based clients, drafting memos and reports reflecting each client's activities.

You will collaborate with the consulting team, manage a docket across industries such as software, apparel, construction, and food & beverage, and develop subject matter expertise in tax specialty issues.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in legal QC or related roles.
• Law degree from accredited school.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.

Role: Associate - Legal QC. Location: Hyderabad.

Responsibilities

• Identify, analyze, and quantify research and development tax credit benefits for American businesses.
• Review executed client contracts to identify which meet the requirements for the R&D tax credit.
• Draft phased reports and legal memoranda highlighting each client's unique activities while utilizing your legal prowess.
• Collaborate with other members of the consulting team while to develop custom reports for clients.
• Ability to own and actively manage your docket across a variety of industries including but not limited to software, apparel, construction, engineering, and food and beverage.
• Become and act as a Subject Matter Expert on tax specialty issues.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2+ years of experience.
• A law degree from an accredited law school in India, the U.S., or another common law jurisdiction.
• Professional experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• High sense of urgency with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite of products is required.
• Ability to analyze legal documents.
