Job summary

alliantgroup, LP is seeking an accounting professional to support US clients from Hyderabad. You will perform banking categorization, posting to GL, payroll, reconciliations, and asset accounting while maintaining books and preparing financial statements.

The role requires 3+ years of US accounting experience with US GAAP knowledge and hands-on use of QBO, Sage, Zoho, or Netsuite. Strong communication and independent work capability are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with US clients is required.
• Proficiency with listed accounting software (QBO, Sage, Zoho, Netsuite).

Responsibilities

• Interact directly with US clients and perform accounting tasks.
• Categorize bank and credit card transactions and post in GL/sub-ledger.
• Process cash applications, reconciliations, and payroll accounting.
• Handle Fixed Assets, Inventory, and depreciation calculations.
• Prepare Trial Balance, financial statements, and ad hoc reports.

Job Description

What you'll be doing:

As an accounting professional, youwill be expected to:

• Interact directly with US clients
  
• Perform accounting tasks such as:
  
• Categorizations of bank and credit cardtransactions
  
• Posting of transactions in GL and sub-ledger
  
• Cash applications
  
• Reconciliations
  
• GL, AP, AR accounting
  
• Fixed Assets and Inventory
  
• Payroll accounting
  
• Computation of depreciation and amortization
  
• Cleaning of books of account
  
• Preparation of Trial Balance, Financial Statements(Financial and US Tax accounts), Financial Analysis,
  
• Preparation of ad hoc reports & dashboards
  
• Liaising with clients and Auditors
  
• Closing of books of account
  

Coordination with ISMS core team to support ISMSactivities and implantation strategies at the company.

Requirements

What are we looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in US accounting (knowledgeofUS GAAP preferable) and direct interaction with US clients is a must.
  
• Hands-on experience in commonly used accountingsoftware like QBO, Sage, Zoho, Netsuite etc.
  
• Ability and confidence to work independently or withminimum supervision
