Job summary

Roots Group is seeking a safety-focused professional with a proven track record in improving manufacturing safety standards, particularly in fabrication. You will drive proactive health and safety measures, ensure statutory compliance, and lead initiatives to eliminate incidents.

Responsibilities include risk assessment, policy development for work at height, lifting, electrical & LOTO, and coordinating with Associate Heads, Supervisors and Operators to embed a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in improving safety standards in manufacturing (Fabrication).
• Experience in health & safety initiatives and statutory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify potential risks and implement preventive actions.
• Define and implement critical safety policies (work at height, lifting, electrical, welding, LOTO).
• Spearhead safety initiatives and communicate with heads, supervisors and operators.
• Conduct process walk-throughs to bridge gaps in safety standards and ensure compliance.

• Proven track record on improvingsafety in Fabrication & Assembly
  
• Having expertise in identifyingpotential risk, Job safety analysis (HIRA) and implementing preventiveactions
  
• Strong & Dynamic person toimplement behavior-based safety movement
  
• Achieve TRIR & LTIR to the benchmark standards
  
• Defining & implementing criticalpolicies such as Work at height, Lifting, Electrical, Welding, LOTO, ContractorsManagement & Incident management
  
• Spearheading safety initiatives tothe Associate Heads, Supervisors and Operators and implementing it.
  
• Maintaining all statutoryrequirements up to date
  
• Conductingregular process walk along with Team leaders to bridge the gap in safetystandards
