Job summary

Ador Welding is seeking an experienced EHS professional to lead environment, health and safety at its Pune manufacturing site. You will develop, update and maintain process documentation, and drive CAPA and compliance.

You will coordinate training, audits, and safety initiatives across cross-functional teams, ensuring timely closure of actions and a relentless focus on zero accident performance. The role requires hands-on implementation, strong presentation skills and the ability to work with

Qualifications

• 10-15 years in EHS in manufacturing or fabrication environments.
• Hands-on experience in procedure development and field implementation.
• Ability to interact with cross-functional teams across geographies.
• Lead improvement activities and zero-accident initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, update and maintain documentation for EHS at manufacturing level.
• Ensure 100% closure of safety actions and track CAPA records.
• Conduct safety meetings and close action points within timelines.
• Manage work permit system and site safety compliance.
• Coordinate with training, auditing agencies for programs and audits.
• Drive zero-harm safety initiatives and safety performance improvements.

Role & responsibilities

• To prepare, update & maintain documentation of processes falling in the area of Environment, Health & Safety at manufacturing level.
• Participate in sub-activities of different projects taken up in corporate and manufacturing unit level
• Responsible for 100% closer of action related to safety
• Ensure the 100% completion of CAPA and track the record CAPA and track the record
• Ensure the compliance of non-statutory as well as statutory part
• Conduct the safety meeting and close the action points within timeline
• Handle the work permit system
• Coordinate with training, consulting & auditing agencies to organize identified training programs, seminars & audits for corporate as well as manufacturing unit.
• Manage changes in documentation of as per site & corporate guideline
• Conducting self-assessment for Safety Management System processes
• Preparation of monthly MIS reports for Safety Management System
• Track the record of incident and ensure the closer of action points.
• Ensure the Zero harm process
• Prepare the annual safety training calendar Resource planning to meet the On-time performance of design activities.
• Timely Completion of process improvement/ documentation projects
• Timely submission of MIS reports
• Timely support to plants Environment & Safety teams in identified projects
• Reduce incident & injury rate in manufacturing units
• Improve EHS leading indicators of the manufacturing units.

Preferred candidate profile

• 10-15 Years in the field of EHS in manufacturing / fabrication unit.
• Hands-on experience in the procedure development & field implementation
• Ability to Interact and work with cross functional teams across geographies
• Internal: Environment & Safety plants teams, Central functions- Accounts
• External: All Service Providers / Vendors
• Motivated, Self-driven & fixated on quick & timely completion
• Logical thinking
• Excellent presentation skills
• Must participate and lead many improvement activities that are ongoing in the plant.
• Must have demonstrated lead role in zero accident mission in his earlier tenure.
