Job summary

Flextronics - The Flex Company in Chennai is seeking a Specialist – GBS Procurement to support end-to-end procurement operations. You will issue POs, liaise with vendors, and monitor deliveries while driving process improvements and accuracy across procurement tasks.

The role requires 3–5 years in procurement, ERP knowledge, and strong MS Office skills. Flexible shifts and health benefits are offered as part of a broader compensation package.

Qualifications

• Experience in Order processing, Supply chain management, Order management and end-to-end procurement.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of procurement experience.
• Knowledge of ERP and MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Issue POs to Vendors and track confirmations.
• Coordinate with vendors for delivery status and on-time payments.
• Maintain Open Purchase Order and Shortage reports.
• Execute core procurement processes accurately for assigned products.
• Identify and implement process improvements to procurement efficiency.
• Prepare customized reports for procurement analytics.
• Coordinate PO changes with requestors and suppliers.
• Maintain supplier database and select suppliers per strategy.
