Job summary

Eaton India is seeking a senior leader to drive the entire India Business Development function for Power Quality, Power Distribution, and related solutions. You will own the BD strategy, lead a national team and coordinate with consultants, end users, and sales to win large projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering.
• 20+ years of professional experience in Electrical industry with strong understanding of UPS, MDC, Smart racks, LV & MV products and solutions.
• 7–8 years of experience in Power products Prescription space, working with consultants and leadership at national level.

Responsibilities

• Drive the India BD function as the owner with all India BD team reporting to this role.
• Lead revenue growth from BD initiatives for One Eaton products and CPS/CPC/DC solutions.
• Engage consultants and large end users at CXO level to position Eaton solutions.
• Develop and manage a large project pipeline across segments like Data centers, IT/ITES, Government, Railways, Buildings.
• Support sales with project level pricing strategies in coordination with pricing and management teams.
• Translate learnings from large projects into pre-sales and winning strategies for Eaton.

What You’ll Do

This role will be responsible for driving all India Business Development function for entire product portfolio of Power Quality (UPS, MDC, Smart Racks Bright layer solutions etc), Power distribution (Low voltage, Medium voltage switchgear) & solutions & Bussmann fuses.

• Drive the One Eaton Electrical Sector India Business Development function as full time owner. All India BD team will report into this role
• Expected to drive significant revenue contribution from BD team for One Eaton Products and solutions with predominant focus on CPS, CPC, DC solutions.
• This role will bring in segment wise BD focus apart from helping team to secure approvals in Large consultants and departments for ONE Eaton as CXO level engagements
• Drive BD team for the enablement of Consultant Management, Consultant Mapping and Product positioning through consultants and large end users to gain acceptance and promote Eaton solutions.
• Lead to BD team to develop an opportunity pipeline at each approved consultant and end-customer level and share the same with the sales team. Track and review the opportunity for conversions in coordination with the sales leaders.
• Guide team to build large project pipeline across focus segments like Data centers, Infrastructure, IT/ITES, Government, Railways, Buildings, MOEM etc. Identify large projects which are at the prescription stage and help increase Eaton win rate in these projects through BD function actions
• Additionally, this role will also support the Sales leaders on the project level pricing strategies in sync with the pricing team and management team. Market dynamics, pricing actions will be tracked for agile actions to increase the win rate and support profitable growth
• Candidate is expected to be updated on the technical and commercial knowledge of products and solution across players for the said scope of offers. Should have an experience of driving large projects end to end (enquiry to order) and should be able to translate those learnings to support Eaton team in pre‑sales and winning strategies

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical /Electronics Engineering
• 20+ years of professional experience in Electrical industry with strong understanding of UPS, MDC, Smart racks, Low voltage & medium voltage products and solutions and applications in manufacturing, IT/ITeS, Industry, MOEM, Government and Datacenter segments
• Latest and Minimum 7 to 8 years of experience in Power products Prescription space - working with consultants and key influencers at leadership level. Preferably in national role. Prior experience in Sales and marketing in Energy Management space will be a plus
