Job summary

Dezy, a dental health tech company based in Hyderabad, is seeking a dentist to join our clinical team. You will perform dental examinations, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans with senior dentists, while carrying out procedures such as cleanings, fillings, and intraoral scans.

You will educate patients on oral health, maintain precise records, and collaborate with the Chief General Dentist and staff to ensure seamless care.

Responsibilities

• Perform dental examinations and diagnose conditions with senior dentists.
• Carry out intraoral scans, cleanings, fillings, and simple procedures.
• Educate patients on oral health and aftercare.
• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans.
• Collaborate with the Chief General Dentist and staff for seamless care.
• Stay updated with advances in dentistry, incl. aligners and implants.
• Assist senior doctors during procedures and surgeries.
• Build relationships with dental clinics and practitioners in the region.
• Coordinate with patients on appointment logistics and home clinic visits.

Key Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Perform dental examinations, diagnose dental conditions, and develop treatment plans in collaboration with senior dentists.
• Treatment Procedures: Carry out simple dental procedures such as intraoral scans, cleanings, fillings, etc.
• Patient Education: Educate patients on oral health, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions to ensure optimal dental health.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and medical histories.
• Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the Chief General Dentist and administrative staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Continuing Education: Stay updated with the latest developments in dentistry, such as aligners and implants, through continuous education and training opportunities.
• Assistance in Surgeries: Assist senior doctors during dental procedures and surgeries.
• Manage and enhance relationships with existing players / dental clinic chains / senior Dentists in the region through outbound reach and participation in trade fairs.
• Call and coordinate with the patients on the day of the home/partner clinic scan to reach the location on time.
