Native is a leading retained executive search firm partnering with organisations to build high-impact leadership teams. We are growing our finance leadership hiring team in Mumbai and are looking to onboard an Associate Consultant/Consultant with a long-term career in Executive Search.

You will work in the B2C Finance (West) practice, supporting CFO and senior finance leadership mandates across consumer, real estate, hospitality, retail, and allied sectors.

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in Executive Search, Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, or B2B Sales / Business Development.
• Strong communication, research, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with responsible AI usage in hiring, including human oversight, consistency, fairness, and compliance-sensitive process design.
• Commercial mindset with high ownership and accountability; comfortable operating with targets in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine interest in leadership hiring and talent advisory as a long-term career.

Responsibilities

• Support leadership hiring mandates end-to-end from market mapping to candidate closure.
• Sourcing and engaging senior finance and CXO-level candidates across industries.
• Conduct structured candidate evaluations and create assessment reports.
• Build market intelligence including talent maps and compensation benchmarks.
• Participate in client conversations with founders and senior leaders to align needs.
• Develop long-term relationships with candidates and clients.
• Grow into independent mandate ownership as you develop.

About the Role

We are growing our finance leadership hiring team in Mumbai and are looking to onboard an Associate Consultant/Consultant interested in building a long-term career in Executive Search.

You will work as part of the B2C Finance (West) practice, supporting CFO and senior finance leadership mandates across consumer, real estate, hospitality, retail, and allied sectors. This is a high-learning, client-exposure role where you will work directly with the practice's senior consultants on live mandates and grow into independently managing searches over time.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting leadership hiring mandates end-to-end - from market mapping and target company research to candidate identification, assessment, and closure
• Sourcing and engaging senior finance and CXO-level candidates across industries
• Conducting structured candidate evaluations and preparing high-quality candidate assessment reports
• Building market intelligence - talent maps, compensation benchmarks, and industry trackers
• Participating in client conversations with founders, CXOs, and senior leadership teams to understand business and talent needs
• Building long-term relationships with candidates and clients
• Growing into independent mandate ownership as you develop
• Use AI to create repeatable recruiting workflows, document processes, and reduce manual operational drag

Ideal Candidate Profile
