Job summary

ITC Ltd is seeking a Civil Engineering professional with 5–10 years of hands-on site execution experience. The role involves coordinating with architects and consultants to finalize layouts, preparing work package schedules, and reviewing level-3 plans for domain engineering tasks.

The candidate will monitor contractor performance, ensure drawing alignment with specifications, and drive corrective actions to meet project goals while maintaining QA and safety standards.

Qualifications

• B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a UGC/AICTE-recognized institute.
• 5–10 years of hands-on site execution experience.
• Ideal background includes building construction like interiors, factories, warehouses, hotels, real estate or healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with architects/consultants to finalize layouts and drawings.
• Submit schedule of domain engineering work packages and review Level 3 plans.
• Review drawings and specifications with contractors to ensure accuracy.
• Monitor delivery and quality of consultants, PMCs; implement corrective actions.

Job description

Roles and Responsibilities:

Project Planning

• Co-ordinate with architects / consultants to finalize layouts and statutory drawings
• Submit schedule of domain engineering work packages (mechanical/ civil / electrical domain)
• Evaluate BOQ / tender drawings submitted by consultants
• Prepare and review Level 3 plans for domain engineering work packages

Project Execution and Monitoring

• Review and ensure availability of correct, consistent and comprehensive drawings and specification with the contractor
• Monitor the delivery and work quality of consultants, PMCs. Drive efficiency, review periodically, escape issues and ensure corrective actions
• Responsible for day-to-day site work of domain engineering as per plan
• Review weekly & monthly reports of package assigned, escape issues and drive corrective actions

Budgets, quantity surveying, tendering & contracting

• Forecast the amount of work to be executed and hence plan the cash flows
• Collaborate and co-ordinate with Contracts & Purchase Team for BOQs, tenders and contracts related issue
• Awareness of quantity surveying and cost estimation

Vendor Management & Payables:

• Monitor milestones against project plan
• Review and approve first-level sign off on the measurement sheets, payments

Quality & Safety

• Ensure implementation of construction QA/ QC processes
• Assist in quality & safety audits at sites

Compliance & Audits

• Ensure adherence to all systems & processes as required by the Organization

Preferred candidate profile

• B.E / B. Tech in Civil Engineering from an institute/University recognized by UGC/AICTE
• 5-10 years of hands-on experience in site execution profile
• Ideal candidate would have construction/ industrial projects experience with preference from - building construction like Interior Fit Out, Factories, warehouse, Manufacturing Unit, hotels, real estate and health care.
• Project engineering & management techniques Planning & co-ordination skills
• Quality, safety relevant codes (IS) and standards applicable to the following: Excavation, backfilling, RCC Works, Steel works, pre-fab construction, civil finishes, industrial floor)
