Job summary

GMR Airports Infrastructure is seeking a civil engineering professional to lead and coordinate civil infrastructure projects, ensuring schedule, budget, and quality compliance.

The role requires coordinating with multiple engineering streams, reviewing design submissions, and enforcing health, safety, and environmental standards on site. A Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and 6+ years of infrastructure experience are required.

Responsibilities

• Execute and complete Civil Infrastructure projects coordinating with Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing & IT while upholding safety and quality standards.
• Coordinate civil/structural works with Project Manager to meet schedule, cost, and quality.
• Design inputs coordination with consultants/clients; review design submittals for buildability.
• Certify contractors' monthly RA Bills and review progress reports with contractor teams.
• Implement Health, Safety and Environmental measures per SOPs.
• Develop team skills through training and resource optimization.

Job description

Role & responsibilities

1. Execute and complete the Civil Infrastructure projects in coordination with Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing & Information Technology with implementation of highest safety & quality standards, ensuring the works are completed within budget & time.
2. Construction Management: Under the guidance of the Project Manager, coordinate and ensure implementation of civil / structural works as per the agreed construction schedule to ensure the works are completed within time & cost complying with quality standards.
3. Design Management: Coordinate with consultants and clients for the necessary design inputs. Review all the design submittals for the buildability
4. Certify contractors monthly RA Bills as per the works executed. Review of daily / weekly progress report as per the work schedule. Coordinate with the contractors team of Engineers / supervisors and collectively work out action plans to catch up with the occasional / frequent delay of work progress.
5. Implementation of Health, Safety and Environmental measures as per the standard operating procedures.
6. Drive the team development initiative by training and guiding the junior executives with emphasis on optimization of resources, value engineering during construction process and exploring the knowledge sharing aspects as a team.
7. P rovide support to bidding team for new projects by way of quantification, preparation of working drawings etc.

Preferred candidate profile

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS Bachelors degree in civil engineering. Proficiency in MS office RELEVANT EXPERIENCE 6+ total years of experience in building and infrastructure projects
