Role Description

The Assistant - Purchase role is a full-time, on-site position located in the Greater Rajkot Area. The role involves supporting the purchase department in handling day-to-day procurement activities, including preparing and processing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and maintaining accurate purchase records. The Assistant - Purchase will coordinate with suppliers for quotations, negotiate basic terms under guidance, and ensure timely availability of materials and components needed for manufacturing and service projects. The role includes monitoring inventory levels, assisting in vendor evaluation, and supporting compliance with company purchasing policies and quality standards. The individual will collaborate closely with internal teams such as operations, stores, and accounts to ensure smooth material flow and cost-effective purchasing.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Purchasing Processes and Purchasing activities to support end-to-end procurement operations.
• Ability to assist in Purchase Management, including vendor coordination and basic negotiation under supervision.
• Experience in handling Purchase Orders and related documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Analytical Skills to compare quotations, track costs, and support data-driven purchasing decisions.
• Good written and verbal communication skills for interaction with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP or inventory management systems.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in commerce, business administration, supply chain, or a related field preferred.
• Prior experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or electrical engineering environment is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment and meet timelines.
