Job summary

Angel and Genie in India seeks an Assistant Manager – Sales & Business Development for Warehouse Automation. You will drive revenue by understanding warehouse operations, analyzing challenges, and turning them into smart automation proposals that deliver tangible ROI.

The role blends business development with solution design and customer engagement. You’ll lead site visits, conduct process studies, prepare techno-commercials, and coordinate with Engineering, Projects, IT and partners to design

Qualifications

• Experience in Warehouse Automation / Intralogistics / Solution Selling / Presales
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations & WMS
• Exposure to apparel, retail, e-commerce or high-SKU warehouses is preferred
• Strong analytical, presentation and customer-facing skills
• Ability to convert operational requirements into scalable, commercially viable solutions

Responsibilities

• Understand end-to-end warehouse & logistics operations
• Conduct customer site visits, process studies and operational assessments
• Analyses SKU profiles, order volumes, throughput, storage capacity, manpower and material flow
• Develop warehouse automation & intralogistics concepts
• Recommend solutions such as Conveyors, Sortation, AS/RS, Shuttle, AMR/AGV, Pick-to-Light & Put-to-Light
• Work on WMS, ERP & AIDC requirements including Barcode, QR and RFID
• Develop capacity plans, CAPEX/OPEX estimates and techno-commercial proposals
• Prepare URS/RFQ/RFP responses and customer presentations
• Engage with customers through technical discussions, solution reviews, negotiations and finalization
• Work closely with Engineering, Projects, IT, Operations and OEM/technology partners
