Job summary

The Corporate Institute is seeking a professional for liability underwriting and business development in Mumbai. The role involves interacting with clients for deal closures, techno-marketing, and product presentations, while managing channel relations with brokers and ensuring compliance across regulatory and product approval aspects.

You will coordinate with reinsurance, product specialists, and accounts to align pricing, policy administration, and service delivery.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting of Liability proposals for various products and clients.
• Business development: Customer interaction for deal closures, Techno-marketing, Product Presentations etc.
• Channel Management: interface between Brokers and Customers – training and development of various Liability products.
• Coordination with other departments such as reinsurance, product specialists and accounts.
• Policy administration and documentation.
• Contribute in price review exercise at regular intervals through market benchmarking and identifying the areas for correction.
• Liaison with all stakeholders (Sales, IT, Operations, Legal and Compliance) for all Underwriting matters.
• Ensure 100% compliance with all regulatory and product approval related aspects.
• Work with IT and Operations staff to ensure that business requirements are met and that customers are provided with a high level of service.
