Job summary

Crescendo Global is seeking an AVP Underwriting (Liability) with 6-8 years of experience for Mumbai to lead liability underwriting, assess risks, and drive profitable portfolio growth in a dynamic General Insurance environment.

You will underwrite liability proposals, manage brokers and customers, coordinate with reinsurance, product, sales, operations, legal and compliance teams, and benchmark market terms to ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 6-8 years of experience in Liability Underwriting.
• Strong understanding of Liability insurance products, underwriting principles and risk assessment.
• Experience in managing brokers, customers and other key stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Graduate or Postgraduate qualification; insurance-related certification/diploma preferred.
