Job summary

A leading client of PSIPL in Mumbai is seeking a Fleet Scheduler to allocate vehicle schedules and assign daily delivery or pickup routes to drivers based on geography and priority. You will monitor fleet movements via GPS tracking and TMS, handle live routing adjustments, and serve as the main contact for driver updates and load coordination, with night shifts required.

Experience in transport operations, paperwork checks, and ensuring regulatory compliance is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Allocate vehicle schedules and assign daily delivery or pickup routes to drivers based on geography and priority.
• Monitor fleet movements and transit progress via GPS tracking and Transport Management Systems (TMS)
• Handle live routing adjustments due to traffic, vehicle breakdowns, or sudden schedule shifts.
• Serve as the main point of contact for driver updates, customer inquiries, and load coordination.
• Check and manage driver paperwork, transport logs, fuel receipts, and manifest documents for accuracy.
• Coordinate vehicle servicing intervals, track mileage, and report vehicle defects to workshops or managers.
• Help track driver hours, perform pre-departure safety reviews, and verify compliance with regional transport regulations
• Willing to work only in night shifts
