Job summary

Clayworks Spaces is seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead interior fit-out projects from inception to completion in Bengaluru. The role demands managing timelines, budgets, client relationships, contractors, and ensuring quality standards for timely delivery.

You will oversee design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover, while coordinating with architects and designers. PMP/PRINCE2 certification and 3+ years of relevant experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• PMP or PRINCE2 certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing high-end interior fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-end interior fit-out projects.
• Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure milestones are met.
• Oversee all project phases including design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover.
• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control.

• Supervise internal teams, contractors, and consultants; act as primary contact for clients, architects & designers.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and detail-oriented Senior Project Manager to lead and oversee interior fit-out projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will manage timelines, budgets, client relationships, contractors, and quality standards to ensure timely delivery and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning & Execution o

• Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of high-end interior fit-out projects.
• Prepare project schedules, monitor progress, and ensure milestones are met.
• Oversee all project phases including design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover.

Budget & Cost Management

• Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost control.
• Evaluate and approve variations, claims, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Negotiate with vendors and subcontractors for competitive pricing and quality.

Team & Stakeholder Management

• Supervise internal teams, contractors, and consultants to ensure smooth execution.
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, architects & designers
• Conduct regular site and coordination meetings and issue progress reports.

Quality & Safety Assurance

• Ensure quality control procedures are implemented and maintained.
• Monitor health & safety compliance on-site in accordance with regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical issues effectively.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and reports.
• Prepare and present regular progress updates to senior management and clients.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architecture, Interior Design, or related field.
• PMP / PRINCE2 certification (preferred).
• Minimum 3 years of experience in managing high-end interior fit out projects.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, finishes, and construction techniques.
• Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project)
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
