Job summary

Johnson Controls in Mumbai is seeking an Assistant Project Manager - IBMS to lead end-to-end IBMS projects across the city. You will coordinate installation, commissioning, and handover of integrated building systems, working with CCTV, ACS, BMS and related security solutions.

The role requires 5–8 years of experience in IBMS/BMS project execution, strong networking knowledge, and excellent communication skills. On-site management with a focus on timely delivery and safety will be expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in electrical, electronics, instrumentation, mechanical or related engineering discipline.
• Experience in execution and project management of IBMS/BMS, CCTV, ACS, ELV or Security Systems projects.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals and field device integration.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and project specifications.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage IBMS projects from initiation to handover.
• Plan, coordinate, and monitor project activities to ensure timely completion.
• Oversee installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of CCTV, ACS, BMS and related systems.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Prepare project schedules, progress reports and documentation.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, quality standards and safety requirements.
• Conduct site surveys and provide technical support during execution.
• Monitor project costs, material utilization, and resource allocation.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors for successful delivery.
• Support customer acceptance testing and handover activities.
