Job summary

Johnson Controls in India seeks an experienced IBMS Project Manager to lead end-to-end execution of IBMS projects. You will coordinate planning, engineering, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, customer management and project closure to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

The role emphasizes safety, contractual compliance and quality, with responsibility for stakeholder management and successful handover across BMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, PA and ELV systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical/ electronics/ instrumentation/ mechanical engineering or related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in IBMS/BMS/ELV project execution.
• Experience handling large commercial, industrial, healthcare, or IT campus projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete lifecycle of IBMS projects including BMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, PA Systems, Networking and Integration.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resources, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, budgets, cash flow, billing and revenue.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials, tools and manpower.
• Lead site teams for installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Manage risks, variations, change orders and contractual obligations.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
• Support invoicing, payments, documentation and project closeout.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and resolve escalations.
