Job summary

Johnson Controls in Mumbai is hiring an experienced Project Manager to lead large-scale Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) projects, including CCTV, access control, fire alarm and security systems.

You will oversee end-to-end execution, manage planning, budgeting, resources and risk, collaborate with customers and contractors, and drive commissioning and handover with a strong emphasis on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics/Instrumentation/Automation/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• PMP/Prince2 certification preferred.
• Strong understanding of project management methodologies and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end execution of IBMS, Fire & Security, and Building Controls projects.
• Manage project planning, scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
• Ensure timely delivery with quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
• Monitor progress, costs, timelines and compliance with contracts.
• Drive installation, testing, commissioning and handover activities.
• Prepare change orders, project documentation and reporting.
• Ensure adherence to company processes, quality standards and EHS guidelines.
• Conduct regular project reviews and provide status updates to stakeholders.
• Mentor and guide project engineers and site teams.

Position Summary

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the execution and delivery of large-scale Integrated Building Management System (IBMS) projects. The role requires strong expertise in project management, stakeholder coordination, and execution of CCTV, Access Control Systems (ACS), Building Controls, Fire Alarm Systems, and Security Systems projects.

Required Qualifications

Experience

• 10-12+ years of experience in project management and execution within the Building Technologies, Fire & Security, or IBMS domain.
