Job summary

Johnson Controls, Inc. is seeking an experienced IBMS Project Manager to lead end-to-end IBMS projects across BMS, fire alarm, access control, CCTV, and PA systems. You will coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors and vendors to ensure project success.

The role requires strong leadership, planning and financial acumen to deliver on time, within budget and to contractual and quality standards. On-site coordination will be needed across diverse sites and projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
• 12–15 years of IBMS/BMS/ELV project execution experience.
• Experience handling large commercial or industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage complete lifecycle of IBMS projects (BMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, PA) and integration.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor budgets, cash flow, billing and revenue.
• Lead site teams for installation, testing, commissioning and handover.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Support invoicing, payment follow-ups, documentation and closeout.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and resolve escalations.

Job Summary

The IBMS (Integrated Building Management System) Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end execution of IBMS projects, including planning, engineering coordination, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning, customer management, and project closure. The role ensures projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with contractual and quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage complete lifecycle of IBMS projects, including BMS, Fire Alarm, Access Control, CCTV, PA System, Networking, and Integration Systems.
• Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocation, and execution strategies.
• Coordinate with customers, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, cash flow, billing, and revenue.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of materials, tools, and manpower.
• Lead site teams for installation, testing, commissioning, and handover activities.
• Manage project risks, variations, change orders, and contractual obligations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
• Support invoicing, payment follow-ups, documentation, and project closeout activities.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and resolve project-related escalations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• 12-15 years of experience in IBMS/BMS/ELV project execution.
