Job summary

People Pro Consulting is seeking an Assistant Manager - Production (Cold Roll Forming / Cabinet Foaming / Pre Assembly) in Ahmedabad to lead production sections, meet UPH targets, reduce scrap, and ensure ISO/IMS documentation is up to date. You will manage manpower, train staff, and coordinate with tool room, maintenance, PPC and material departments to keep operations smooth.

The role requires a Diploma/BE/BTech in Mechanical/Electrical with 6–7 years in the domestic refrigerator industry, Six

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE/BTech in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
• Course work in Production/Operation Management or similar.
• Six Sigma knowledge desirable.
• Process Control Plan knowledge expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead Cold Roll Forming, Cabinet Foaming and Pre Assembly sections.
• Achieve production targets (UPH) as per daily and monthly plans.
• Reduce scrap and keep within target.
• Improve department First Time Right (FTR).
• Maintain ISO & IMS documents and control CTP/CTQ parameters of foaming.
• Train manpower, ensure daily productivity and zero accidents.
• Coordinate with tool room, maintenance, PPC and material departments; conduct weekly machine audits and oversee preventive maintenance.

Assistant Manager - Production (Cold Roll Forming / Cabinet Foaming / Pre Assembly

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Cold Roll Forming, Cabinet Foaming and Pre Assembly sections (Refrigerator Division)
• Responsible for Production Achievement (UPH) as per daily & monthly Plan.
• Responsible for reducing of Scrap(Maintain within target)
• Improve Dept FTR.
• Responsible for maintaining all ISO & IMS related documents & controlling CTP/CTQ parameter of foaming.
• Effective utilization of daily manpower and training of new manpower and ZERO accidents to be ensured
• Coordination with tool room, maintenance, PPC and Material Depts. For smooth Functioning. Machine Audit once in a week and necessary Preventive Maintenance should be ensured with Machine Dept.

Education and Experience
